1. What is considered abusive?
- Spamming messages without offering a way to opt-out
- Profanity: swear words
- Hateful content: Any images or texts that can be perceived (by our staff) to promote hate, harassment, or discrimination against any particular race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, disease, or immigration status.
- Threat of physical harm: Any images or texts that can be perceived (by our staff) to threaten, advocate, or incite physical harm to or violence against others.
- Brand impersonation phishing: Impersonate as other brands that is not yours
2. What is Messent doing to prevent abusive acts?
- Abuse prevention: Messent automatically monitor, detect, and prevent content that potentially leads to abusive acts and practices
- Compliance with laws: We provide guide and settings that help text marketing campaigns conform to the TCPA and GDPR regulations
- Human reviewers: We use human staff to monitor content in addition to the existing abuse prevention measures in Messent
3. How Messent handles abusive acts
- Email address to receive abuse reports: support@fireapps.io
- Each campaign from Messent has an unique ID, which can be used in abuse investigation
- Each abuse report is assessed immediately by our staff. Appropriate actions will be taken according to the investigation's results.
